Professional gutter installation services.

Our gutters come in two sizes, 5 inches for standard use and 6 inches for better protection against harsh Texas storms. These gutters are custom-made on-site using .027 thick stock and are seamless. They also come prefinished with a choice of 35 different baked enamel paint colors. These colors are guaranteed to last for 30 years without peeling, flaking, or corroding. If desired, the prefinished color can be painted over to match your specific color needs. Our gutters are tilted for proper drainage and installed leak-free behind your roof edge flashing.

We use commercial grade levels to ensure accurate pitching and the strongest hidden hanger brackets available. Each bracket is engineered to hold up to 20 pounds. They are spaced 2 feet apart and anchored with 1 1/2 inch neoprene screws. The only seams on our gutters are at the corners, which are sealed with the highest grade self-leveling sealant in the industry.

Gutter Cleaning

Regular maintenance of gutters is essential to prevent clogging and other issues. When debris accumulates in the gutters, it can cause them to overflow and become loose. The weight of debris and rainwater can also damage the sealant. Sediment build-up from roof grit and dust can further slow down the drainage process. Therefore, it is recommended to clean and flush the gutters at least four times a year if there are trees around the house. Even with leaf protection, it is still necessary to clean and flush the gutters annually. Our process involves using a blower to clean the entire roof, followed by sweeping any debris from the leaf protection. Finally, we use a high-pressure nozzle to wash away any remaining debris from the gutters, leaf protection, downspouts, and storm drain pipes. Simply cleaning the gutter trough is not sufficient. At H & M Memphis Gutters, we offer preventative maintenance programs to our clients to prevent clogging and other issues.

Gutter Repairs

While some issues may require a complete replacement, others can be fixed through repairs. Our team will thoroughly explain the options, advantages, and disadvantages of each method to you. Many times, the need for repairs is due to old age, lack of maintenance, or faulty components and hardware. However, in recent years, we have noticed that poor installation techniques have caused most gutter problems. This is because installers are paid based on the length of the gutter, rather than the time it takes to complete the job, resulting in rushing and taking shortcuts. Due to the lack of proper training programs and procedures for new workers, these individuals may be inexperienced and “practicing” on your home. Therefore, it is crucial to catch and fix any repairs in a timely manner to avoid future replacement costs.

Gutter Guard Installation

Installing a gutter guard is a crucial aspect of a strong gutter system as it provides protection against leaves, debris, small animals, and pests.  H & M Memphis Gutters has extensively researched and tested various products and systems in the market and highly recommended incorporating a guard into your system. A gutter guard acts as a shield, preventing leaves, pine needles,  flowers, shingle grit, lichens, shade-born growth, small animals, and pests such as mosquitos and spiders from clogging the gutters. This installation method is proven to be the most efficient and effective way to maintain clean gutters. As we strive to achieve our ultimate goal, we consistently review and examine new products that enter the market.
